Textured Floral – Grateful Heart

Welcome back!  A quick card for you today…

Playing with the Freshly Made (#647) Sketch, choosing the Color Hues (#92) Duo for the CAS on Friday (#289) color requirements along with elements suggested by Tic Tac Toe (#253).

Here is the result:

TEXTURED FLORAL – FMS647 – TCH92 – COS289 – TTTC253

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • Tri-Split Panel: (4” x 5”) Very Vanilla cardstock cut in 3 pieces and slightly trimmed upon placement.
    • Bottom: (4” x 1½”) Straight-Line dry-scored using the Scoring Blade on the Paper Trimmer.
      • The sentiment, with a grateful heart, from the Textured Floral stamp set was stamped with retired Soft Suede ink.
Left: (1¼” x 3½”) Diagonal-Line dry-scored, also using the Scoring Blade on the Paper Trimmer.
    • Right: (2¼” x 3½”) dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Shape – Flowers: (4¼” x 5½”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • Two Flower images, two Stamen images and two Leaf images from the Textured Floral stamp set were stamped with Pretty in Pink and retired Soft Suede inks, respectively.
    • The Floral Elements were die-cut with the coordinating dies from the Textured Floral Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  One Floral Bloom popped up with Dimensionals, keeping the card clean and simple.

A soft and pretty thank you card.

  1. You have such a pretty card here, Jolanda. The divided panels look great as a backdrop to your floral. Thanks for taking the time to join us at Color Hues.
