Unbounded Beauty – You are Incredible

Welcome to Sunday and the newest Paper Players (#687) challenge.  This week, Joanne has provided us with a Sketch to get our creative juices flowing.  I did a mirror flip as it seemed to suit my choices better. Let’s have some fun!  I selected to use new colors and products from both the new catalog and the on-line exclusives.

I combined this week’s sketch with elements from the current Tic Tac Toe (#246) Board.  In fact, two lines apply:  left down (Flowers, Embossing and Gems) and bottom across (Gems, Patterned Paper and Die Cuts).  I am also sharing this card with Paper Craft Crew (#567) for the Floral theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Petunia Pop cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Peach Pie cardstock dry-embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
• Square Panels: Peach Pie Bokeh patterned piece of paper from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper pack die cut with the (1½” x 1½”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Circle Shape: Peach Pie / Petunia Pop Floral patterned piece of paper, also from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Sentiment Strip: Petunia Pop cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, you are incredible, from the Happy Little Things stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The sentiment was closely fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the mirror image of the sketch.  The Floral Circle was popped up with Dimensionals as was the Sentiment.  A few 2024/2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems in Peach Pie and Petunia Pop were added for a bit of bling.

When we were first introduced to the new In-Colors, I was not drawn to these two.  However, I am really surprised how well they go together.  Do you have a favorite new In-Color?

This pretty card would be suitable for Mother’s Day, Graduation or just to compliment a great friend.
