Pocket Full of Posies – Hello – The Inque Spot Studio

One more for today…

Playing with the TGIF (#470) theme technique – Pocket Full of Posies and selecting the Freshly Made (#633) sketch with the Color Throwdown (#790) color palette and inspiration photo to create my card.

Here is the result:

APPLE BLOSSOMS DIES – LOTS OF LABELS FRAMELITS DIES – SOFTLY SKETCHED – TGIFC470 – FMS633 – CTD790

Steps:

Card Base: (8½” x 4¼” scored at 4¼”) Summer Splash cardstock.
Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
Corner Rectangles: (1” x 1⅜”) Granny Apple Green Dashed patterned piece of paper from the 2023/2024 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
Center Rectangle – Pocket and Posies: (3” x 4½”) overall.
- Bottom – Pocket: (2½” x 3¾”) Summer Splash Wave/Dot patterned piece from the 2024/2026 In-Color Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with the (2⅛” x 3½”) Label die from the retired Lots of Labels Framelits Dies set.
  - The Label was scored top and bottom just at the Scalloped Edges and folded out and under to create the Pocket. The edges were trimmed. Final size of Pocket is (2” x 2⅜”).
  - A Summer Splash 2024/2026 In-Color Resin Dot was added as a Button to the Pocket.
- Top – Posies: Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green cardstock scraps.
  - Various floral pieces from the retired Apple Blossoms Dies set were die-cut and assembled.
Sentiment – Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The greeting, Hello, from the Softly Sketched stamp set was stamped with Summer Splash ink and trimmed in the diamond shape with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Pocket, Flowers, some Leaves and the Greeting were all popped up with Dimensionals.

A fun card to make and a nice way to say hello and send flowers.
