Pretty Pastel Pinks – XOXO

Welcome back!  How about a pastel pink Hugs & Kisses card today?

I was inspired by Heart’s Quest (#52) Part A – Pink Ombre & XOXOXO and Part B – Stamped Hearts & Pink Heart Doily.  I selected the Atlantic Heart’s (#574) Sketch to bring my ideas together.

I am also sharing this card with Krafty Chicks (#713) All Occasions (what better occasion than Love) and both Colorful Options (April) and Park Hopping (April) for their Pastel Color themes.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Bubble Bath Ombre patterned piece of paper from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper pack.
  • A Heart Cut-out was die-cut with the (1⅝” x 1½”) Heart die from the retired Hearts Collection Framelits Dies set.
  • A series of small Hearts, from the Country Bouquet stamp set were stamped with the new In-Color Petunia Pop ink.
• Heart Inset: Petunia Pop cardstock scrap.
  • The small Doily from the retired Doily Builder Thinlits Dies set was die-cut.
  • The Doily was then die-cut with the same Heart die used as the Cut-out.
• Banner: Bubble Bath Dots patterned piece of paper from the same Designer Series Paper pack was die-cut with the (1½” x 3”) Banner die from the retired Banners Framelits Dies set.
• Sentiment Circle: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, XOXO, from the Tropical Leaf stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Petunia Pop ink and die-cut with the (1⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  A (4”) length of Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon was cut in Strips and added under the Sentiment Circle which was popped up with Dimensionals.  A few 2024/2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems (Pretty in Pink and Petunia Pop) were added to the Banner for bling.
