Playing in the Rain – Beautiful You

Welcome back!  Friday…how did that happen?  Have any fun plans for the weekend?  We will be out and about and hoping for lovely weather, but I do think there is rain in the forecast.

So, the Inspired By (#284) Inspiration photograph is a stroll in rain gear…and I opted for the retired Beautiful You stamp set and the Girl with Umbrella image to also play with Addicted to CAS (#255) and Just Us Girls (#722) who both have Rain themes.  I selected the two colors suggested by The Color Hues (#84) to play with the new 2024/2026 In-Colors Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Girl and the sentiment, Rainy days are better with you, from the Playing in the Rain stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink to mimic the sketch.
  • The Girl was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Umbrella and Ground – Light and Dark Peach Pie; Dress and Shoes – Light Shy Shamrock; Skin – Ivory: and Hair – Bronze.

A wonderfully clean and simple, simple stamping card.
