Beside Me – Rustic Anniversary Card

Welcome back!  Monday, and the week begins anew.  How about an anniversary card for the Naturalist in your family?

For The Card Concept (#204) Inspiration Photo and Colors; Heart’s Quest Celebration of Love (#3) and sharing with Shopping Our Stash (#516) to use Green as a dominant Color.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Early Espresso cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Garden Green cardstock dry-embossed with the retired In The Pines 3D Embossing Folder.
  • The Three Flying Ducks image from the On-Line Exclusive Feathered Flight stamp set was stamped above the trees with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Square Accent Mat: (2” x 2”) Basic Black cardstock scrap.
• Focal Image – Ducks: (2¼” x 2¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The Duck Pair image from the same stamp set was colored with Stampin’ Write Markers.  Colors chosen: Feathers – Garden Green with Shaded Spruce highlights; Beaks and Mallard collar – Crushed Curry; and Water – Boho Blue.
  • The sentiment, Beside Me All The Way, from the Beside Me stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The image was then die-cut on the diagonal with the (1⅞” x 1⅞”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the layout of the Rustic Rug in the inspiration photo.  The Ducks were popped up with Dimensionals.

What a great card to give to your fellow to celebrate your anniversary.
