Enjoy Your Day – Thoughtful Expressions

Welcome to Sunday and the newest Paper Players (#680) challenge.  This week, Jaydee has an eclectically bright collection of colors for us. 

I selected the current Just Add Ink (#692) sketch to showcase these colors.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Daffodil Delight cardstock.
• Background Split Diagonal Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White and Basic Black cardstock cut on the diagonal and dry-embossed with the On-Line Exclusive Cross-Hatch patterned Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
• Shape: (2” x 3”) Melon Mambo cardstock scrap die-cut with the Label die from the All That Dies set.
• Decoration – Leaf Spray: (3” x 4¼”) Granny Apple Green cardstock die-cut with the Leaf die from the Gorgeously Made Dies set.
• Sentiment Accent Strip: (2⅝” x ⅜”) Daffodil Delight cardstock scrap.
  • The Dashed Accent image from the Gorgeously Made stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Sentiment Strip: (2⅝” x ⅜”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, enjoy your day, from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A few Black Classic Matte Dots were added for a bit of bling.

An all-purpose card in a fun set of colors!
