Gold Foiled Flowers – You’re In My Thoughts

Welcome back! A brand-new week ahead and a lot of Valentine type challenges are about.

Pretty much a color week: TGIF (#458); Just Us Girls (#712); and Color Hues (#80).

I selected the Sunday Stamps (#328) Sketch to bring my idea to life for a fairly simple #simplestamping card.  Just, stamps, ink and paper.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes pack Card Base cut in half and trimmed.
  • Using the Light and Dark Bubble Bath and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers, three of the Flowers were colored.
• Sentiment – Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You’re in my thoughts, from the Hills of Tuscany stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
  • The sentiment was then die-cut with the (2¾” x ½”) Stitched Rectangle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set and trimmed.

The card front was adhered to the card base and the sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.  

How lovely, how simple.
