Hello Friend

Hi!  I am able to get another card done…

Playing with Inspire Create (#158) for the Layout CASE of Tammy Fite’s original card; Color Hues (#77) for Silver & Pink; Inspired By (#268) for the Stripes; and Krafty Chicks (#695) for keeping the design CAS (clean and simple).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Bubble Bath cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Silver and White Dotted patterned piece of paper from the retired Silver and Gold Specialty Paper pack.
  • The sentiment, Hello, Friend, from the Hope You Know stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Pewter Embossing Powder.
• Decorative Blocks: (4” x 1”) and (2¾” x 1”) Silver and White Striped patterned pieces of paper from the same paper pack.
  • Using the Light Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blend Marker, the alternate Stripes and Edges were colored.
• Focal Image – Flowers: Bubble Bath cardstock scrap.
  • The Daisy image from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
  • The image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Petals – Dark Bubble Bath; Buds – Light Bubble Bath; Leaves & Stems – Dark Soft Sea Foam; and Centers – Light Wild Wheat.
  • The image was fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Daisies were popped up with Dimensionals.

I just could not make another Christmas Card.  Hoping you like this fresh take on Tammy’s card and candy canes for a lovely friendship card.
