Sending Birthday Wishes

Hi! Catching up with a few more deadlines…for a sweet feminine birthday card.

How about matching up the Color Throwdown (#769) Colors with the Freshly Made (#612) Sketch?

Here is the result:

MEADOW DIES – SENDING SMILES – TOUCHES OF TEXTURE – CTD769 – FMS612

Steps:

Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
Focal Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
Right Under Rectangle Panel – Lace: The Lace image from the retired Touches of Texture stamp set was stamped with Smoky Slate ink.
Top Rectangle Panel – Flower: Bubble Bath, Basic White and retired Soft Succulent cardstock scraps.
- The Floral die from the Meadows Dies set was die-cut twice.
- The Bubble Bath piece was fussy-cut with Paper Snips and the Flowers were adhered to the Soft Succulent Stem piece.
- Some Basic White Mini Dots were punched out with a (⅛”) Hole Punch and added to the Flower centers.
Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Lace image was stamped again with Smoky Slate ink.
- The sentiment, Birthday Wishes, from the Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Pewter Embossing Powder.
- The Sentiment was die-cut with the small Stitched Frame die from the Timeless Arrangements Dies set.

Keeping the card clean and simple, all elements were adhered to the card base resemble the sketch.
