Welcome back! Changing the pace again. Another Thank you card, this time geared towards the fellows.
Playing with: The Male Room (#180) for the theme; Paper Players (#665) for the sentiment; Facebook’s November SU! Colour combination; and bringing it all together, the Atlantic Hearts (#549) sketch.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Boho Blue cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Boho Blue cardstock stamped with the Splatter image stamp from the retired Itty Bitty Background stamp set with Boho Blue ink.
- Side Panel: (2” x 5¼”) Silver and Night of Navy Wave patterned piece of paper from the retired By the Sea Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Center Strip: (⅞” x 6½”) retired Natural Finish Ribbon.
- Accent Mat: (2⅝” x 3⅞”) Basic Gray cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (2½” x 3¾”) Basic White cardstock.
- The two smaller Feather images from the retired Four Feathers stamp set were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Pewter Embossing Powder.
- The background was also stamped with the Splatter image from the Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp set with Crumb Cake ink.
- Sentiment Circle: (2” x 2”) Night of Navy cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Thank you for everything, from the Color & Contour stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- The Sentiment was die-cut with the (1¾”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. I flipped the orientation to better accommodate the curve of the Feathers. The Focal Panel and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.

Jolanda another gorgeous card – I do love the way you put colours together. Those feathers are so gorgeous with that embossing and my eye immediately went to that lovely natural ribbon panel too. A great male card – thanks for sharing with us at The Male Room.
