Tuesday – Design time and today I am combining the Hand Stamped Sentiments (#424) Colors with the Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#428) flipped Sketch.
I am also sharing this card with Color Dare (#568). Lost Lagoon (for Journey) and Calypso Coral (Orange) and Blackberry Bliss (Purple) for the other two colors. Pebbled Path and Linen are used as Neutrals.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pebbled Path cardstock.
- Accent Rectangle: (2¾” x 4¾”) Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
- Focal Rectangle: (2¾” x 4¾”) Linen patterned piece of paper cut from one of the September 2023: With Love & Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Kit Treat Boxes.
- Accent Leaves: Basic White cardstock scrap water-colored with Calypso Coral ink using the Wide-Tipped Water Painter Brush and die-cut with the Leaf die from the Gorgeously Made Dies set.
- Decoration: Lost Lagoon Floral Spray fussy-cut with Paper Snips from the inside Lining of one of the September 2023: With Love & Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Kit Mini Envelopes.
- Accent Strip: (3¼” x ½”) Lost Lagoon Strip cut from one of the September 2023: With Love & Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Kit Mini Card Bases.
- Sentiment Label: (2⅝” x 1”) Calypso Coral cardstock.
- The sentiment, Thanks for your kindness, from the Apple Harvest stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Pewter Embossing Powder.
All elements were arranged on the card base to resemble the sketch. A few Pebbled Path In-Color Dots were added for a little bling.
Taking inspiration from the Stampin’ Up! catalog samples is always a super place to start when presented with a challenge. Thank you cards are always good to have on hand.
