Dainty Delight – Handcrafted Elements

Friday already!  Wow!  Where did the week go?  Welcome back.  I have a quick clean and simple card for you today using the new Handcrafted Element Dies and the colors suggested by Sunday Stamps (#317).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Azure Afternoon cardstock.
  • Using one of the Oval Leaf dies, an Oval was cut into the card front.
  • The sentiment, Thank You For Your Kindness, from the Dainty Delight stamp set was stamped under the Oval opening with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
• Card Inset(s): (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Both sides of the inside of the card were lined with the Basic White cardstock.  The left panel creates the background for the Oval opening.
• Decoration – Focal Image: (3” x 3½”) Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat cardstock.
  • The two coordinating Oval Leaf dies were die-cut and inset into the card front Oval opening with the Wild Wheat providing the detail and the Mossy Meadow the background creating a “stained glass” impression.

Quick and easy.  Especially when you need a Thank you card in a hurry.
