Everlasting Beauty

Playing with another set of colors for another clean and simple card.  Seems like everyone is up for colors this week! Colors: Inspire Create (#148) and choosing the August Photo Inspiration from Less Is More (#489) for my stamp set choice: Everlasting Beauty.

Here is the result:

EVERLASTING BEAUTY – PETAL PARK – ICC148 – LIM489

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Card Front – One Layer
    • Using a Blending Brush, Lemon Lolly ink was added to the lower right corner.
    • The Floral image from the Everlasting Beauty stamp set was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
    • The Floral image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors selected: Flowers – Light and Dark Lemon Lolly and Leaves – Light and Dark Lost Lagoon.
    • The sentiment, If friends were flowers…, from the same stamp set was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink.
    • The Fairy Dust (Dotted) image from the Petal Park stamp set was stamped around the Floral image with both 1st and 2nd Generation Lost Lagoon ink.

Late summer blossoms twinkling in the sun.  A very clean and simple yet pretty friendship card.
