Welcome back! It is officially Summer…but I have yet to see the sun for the past few rather rainy days. However, several challenges are running with a summer theme, so let’s have some fun!
Make My Monday (#203); AAA Cards (#242); Just Us Girls (#684); Retro Rubber (#209); The Four Seasons (June); and bringing it all together the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (#611) sketch and theme.
Here is the result.
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
- Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Balmy Blue cardstock dry-embossed with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder.
- Larger Rectangle Panel: (3½” x 3”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Lighthouse image from the retired Sailing Home (circa 2019) stamp set was stamped on the right side with retired Soft Suede ink.
- The sentiment, It’s Sure To Be A Fine Day, from the retired Itty Bitty Birthdays (circa 2019) stamp set was stamped in the top left area with Boho Blue ink.
- Smaller Rectangle Panel: (1⅛” x 2¾”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Water, Sand and Bird images from the retired High Tide (circa 2017) stamp set was stamped with Boho Blue, Crumb Cake and Starry Sky inks, respectively.
- Using a Blending Brush, Balmy Blue ink was added to the Sky.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Beach Scene was popped up with Dimensionals and a folded piece of Burlap Ribbon (from the Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo pack) was added for the Tab and three Crumb Cake colored retired Enamel Dots Essentials were also added to complete the card.
