I have the pleasure of being invited to be a guest designer with CAS on Friday (#260) for their Love theme.
I wanted to make something that was a bit quirky and a bit fun, so I added some hand drawn doodles to my stamped image. Hope you like it!
Colors were influenced by Color Dare (#553) to use Red, Brown and another color. Just so happens that Color Throwdown (#747) selected those two same colors but added Blue to the mix. There is the third color! I selected the CAS Colours & Sketches (#514) sketch and decided to share this with Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday (June) Anything Goes.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Back: (5½” x 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Early Espresso cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Striped Heart image and the Mini Heart image from the Country Bouquet stamp set was stamped with 2nd Generation (stamped-off once) Sweet Sorbet ink.
- The Frame and other doodles were hand drawn using the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.
- Using a Blender Pen, Boho Blue ink was added to the Frame.
- The sentiment, With Love, from the same stamp set was stamped with Boho Blue ink.
A very clean and simple, simple stamping card. Just Stamps, Ink and Paper with just enough sass!
