A Classic – You’re the Best

Welcome back!  A few deadlines are on the horizon…

Playing with Less Is More (#482); Inkspirational (#289); and using the colors suggested by Color Dare (#546) in their Tic Tac Toe Board.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Car from the retired Postage Collection stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (for Pine).
  • The (2⅝” x 1⅞”) Oval Frame die from the now retired Fabulous Frames Dies set was die-cut from a scrap of Basic White cardstock and adhered around the Car with Temporary Tape.
  • Retired So Saffron (for Honey Butter) and Mint Macaron (for Mist) inks were added inside the Frame with Sponge Daubers.
  • The Frame was removed and the Oval Frame die was then dry-embossed using the Big Shot Machine and the Big Shot Embossing Mats.
• Sentiment Label: (2” x ⅝”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You’re the Best, from the retired Parcels & Petals stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink.
  • The sentiment was die-cut using the Label die also from the Fabulous Frames Dies set.

The completed panel was adhered to the card base and the sentiment label was added

A clean and simple card, perfect for any gentleman that is worthy of being considered the Best!
