Enjoy the Adventure – So Sweet Floral

Happy Sunday!  Hoping you have a chance to be creative today…

Can you create a card without ink?  Just Add Ink (#645) is challenging us to create with no stamping.

I opted for the current sketch at Tuesday Morning (#700) and to use the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Card Pack.  One of the cards selected included “circles”, so I thought I would share this card with Crafter’s Café (#295) and their Circle motif.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Mango Melody cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (5¼” x 4”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5⅛” x 3⅞”) Mango Melody Ombre Circle (6” x 4”) Card trimmed down,
• Vertical Cross Strip: (⅝” x 3⅞”) Black Dotted piece trimmed from one of the cards.
• Flags: Various strips trimmed from cards and then hand flagged with Paper Snips.
• Focal Image – Posy: Floral Card
  • The Flower was die-cut with the (2” x 3”) Oval die from the retired Layering Ovals Dies set.
  • The sentiment, So Sweet, is from one of the coordinating sticker sheets that come in the Memories & More Pack.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Flower Oval was popped up with Dimensionals.

A fresh and pretty all occasion card!
