I have the pleasure of being a guest designer at The Male Room this month. Challenge – TMR172 is a sketch.

I had some fun. It is March and Spring is around the corner. To that effect, I am playing with the Stampin’ Up! Only (#321) color challenge and the Tic Tac Toe (#198) board and selected color for the Free Spot.
Here is the result:

Steps:
- Case Base: (11” x 4¼” scored at 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
- Diamond pattern: Evening Evergreen, Mossy Meadow, Garden Green and Old Olive cardstock scraps.
- Using the Four-Diamond die from the All That Dies set, eleven (11) diamonds were die-cut. Three – Evening Evergreen, three – Mossy Meadow, three Garden Green and two – Old Olive. The diamond chads were saved.
- The Diamonds were adhered in place to mimic the pattern as per the sketch design.
- Opposing Chads were adhered back in for color contrast. Old Olive into Evening Evergreen, Garden Green into Mossy Meadow, Mossy Meadow into Garden Green and Evening Evergreen into Old Olive.
- Decoration: Old Olive cardstock scrap die-cut with the Open Leaf die from the retired Well Written Dies set.
- The Leaves were adhered in place.
- Sentiment: Evening Evergreen cardstock die-cut with the Word die – Thanks also from the Well Written Dies set.
- The sentiment was adhered in place.
- Diamond pattern: Evening Evergreen, Mossy Meadow, Garden Green and Old Olive cardstock scraps.
The card front was adhered to the Basic White card base. Just paper, glue and a little patience. Yet, perfectly masculine. Always handy to have thank-you cards on hand.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
