Beauty of Friendship – Inspired Colors

Chasing a few more deadlines…

At Just Us Girls (#668), the team is looking for a CAS (clean and simple) card that showcases coloring.  What can be better than the lovely Pretty Medallion stamp?  I chose the colors selected by Color Throwdown (#731) for this one.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Starry Sky cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Using the Stamparatus® Postioning Tool and the Pretty Medallion stamp was stamped with Starry Sky ink.
  • The Medallion was colored with the Light Polished Pink, So Saffron and Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends Markers.
• Sentiment Label: (2¼” x ⅞”) Starry Sky cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You truly inspire me, from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The sentiment label was cut on the diagonals with Paper Snips.

The Colored Medallion Panel was adhered to the card base and the Sentiment Label was popped up with Dimensionals for a truly #simplestamping (just paper, stamps and ink) clean and simple card.

Such pretty colors for a very pretty card.
