You’re The Man – You Are So Loved

Tuesday!  Design Team Challenges combined…

Theme: Cardz 4 Guyz (#315) – A Guy’s Valentine and Sketch: Hand Stamped Sentiments (#407).  I am also sharing this card with Shopping Our Stash (#489).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Sahara Sand cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5½” x 4¼”) Early Espresso and Cajun Craze Checked patterned piece of paper from the He’s The Man Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Panels: (5” x 4”) Sahara Sand and Early Espresso Dotted Check patterned piece of paper from the same paper pack cut at (1¼” x 4”), (2½” x 4”) and again (1¼” x 4”).
• Focal Shape – Open Heart: (2¼” x 2¼) Cajun Craze Striped patterned piece of paper from the same paper pack die-cut with the Open Heart die from the Brushed Shapes Dies set.
• Sentiment Label: Linen patterned piece of paper torn from the Die Cut Sheet that comes with the paper pack.
  • The sentiment, You are so loved, from the retired Watercolor Wishes (Card Kit) stamp set was stamped into Versamark ink and then Soft Suede ink and heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A truly masculine valentine card.
