Welcome back! Time again for the Hand Stamped Sentiments (#406) challenge. This time it is an inspirational mood board reminiscent of Valentine’s Day. How will you be inspired? Me? I chose the Colors, Cat and Hearts.

My design was also influenced by the following challenges: Make My Monday (#192) – Three Hearts, Color Hues (#45) – Pink and Red, Time Out (#230) – The Word: Love, Inspiration Station (#45) – Cat and Window, and Inkspirational (#281) – New Products.
Here is the result:

Steps:
- Case Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Sweet Sorbet cardstock.
- Vertical Cross Strip: (2” x 5½”) Petal Pink Diagonal Plaid patterned piece of paper from the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper pack
- Focal Image: (4” x 4”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Three Hearts above Laying Cat image from the Love Cats stamp set were masked. Versamark ink was added. The Cat was heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
- The image cleaned and the Cat was masked. Versamark ink was added to the Three Hearts. Sweet Sorbet ink was then added and the Hearts were heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder.
- The sentiment, I love hanging out with you, from the same stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and then with Sweet Sorbet ink and heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder.
- Circle Frame Inset: (3” x 3”) Petal Pink Polka Dot off-cut piece of paper from Regency Park Designer Series Paper pack from a previous project.
- The (2⅝”) circle opening was die-cut with one of the Circle Dies from the retired Layering Circles Dies set.
- Square Circle Frame: (4” x 4”) Basic White cardstock die cut with the (3”) Stitched Circle Die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
Completing the card, the vertical cross strip was centered and the square framed image was popped up with Dimensionals.
A clean and simple non-gushy love card suitable for a Valentine.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
