Starlit Sparkle – Season’s Greetings

Hi!  Slipping in a card for the current Tic Tac Toe (#186) challenge.

Additional choices influenced by the Inkspirational (#277) Word Prompt and a loosely interpreted Sketch from Tuesday Morning (#683).

Here is the result:

MERRY MERRY MESSAGES – LIGHTS AGLOW DSP – TTTC186 – INKSPIRATIONAL 277 – TMS638

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Season’s Greetings, from the retired Merry Merry Messages stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Accent Strips: (4” x ½”) x (2) Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (now retired).
  • Focal Panel: (4” x 3”) Black / Gold Star patterned piece of paper from the Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Adornment – Star: (2¼” x 2¼”) Be Dazzling Specialty Paper die cut with one of the Star dies from the retired Stitched Stars Dies set.

All the elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch which was flipped to the Verical position.

Another opportunity to showcase the beautiful Designer Series Papers from Stampin’ Up!.  An explosion of fireworks in the night sky celebrating the season and the new year.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda.
