Welcome back! Having a play with a number of challenges…
Sketch: Sunday Stamps (#270); Theme: As You See It (#264); Style and Theme : Happy Little Stampers CAS November; and the power of four, Alphabet Letter “Q” .
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Vertical Panel: (2¼” x 5½”) Four Cats were fussy cut from the retired Playful Pets Designer Series Paper pack and arranged to represent the panel.
- Horizontal Panel: (4” x 1½”) Basic Black, Smoky Slate and Basic White patterned piece of paper from the retired Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper pack.
- Shape: (2¼” x 1¼”) Basic Black cardstock. The sentiment, You’re Just So Fabulous, from the retired Many Mates stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder. The sentiment was then die-cut with that sized die from the retired Stitched Nested Labels Dies set.
All of the elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. I don’t have pets, but cats are my preference…Dogs, that is more my husband’s preference. What is your preference?

What a great take on the quadruple theme, I love how you lined up not one but four cute cats in your project. The grey shades you worked with turned out really well, so light and playful, and perfect to complement the furry centerpiece. A wonderful card for every cat lover. Oh my! This card is everything! I am in love with each of these sweet cats! It reminds me of one of my favorite Disney movies – The Aristrocats. The plaid just sets off the whole card. Thanks for playing along with As You See It!
