Have a little fun on the weekend…and the challenges pile up and the deadlines are here before you know it.
Catching up with the Freshly Made Sketch Challenge (#499) and the CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge (#433). As I chose to create my card with flower dies, The Flower Challenge (#59).
Here is what I came up with:

Steps:
A pretty card using very few supplies. The Flowers, Leaves and Sentiment Label were all die-cut using the Pierced Blooms Dies in the challenge colors, Pool Party, Real Red and Daffodil Delight. I chose Basic White as the neutral.
The sentiment, Wishing you your best year yet, from the Best Year stamp set was stamped onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock with Pool Party ink and then die cut.
All of the elements were positioned and adhered to a Basic White background panel (4” x 5¼”) matching the sketch layout.
To finish off the card, I chose a Pool Party card base (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) to balance the brighter red and yellow colors.
A quick card, short of die-cutting the flower pieces but everything comes together easily once done. A fresh and friendly card suitable for many occasions.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
