Let’s Paint the Town, Little Lady Bug!

A fun little challenge over at CAS on Friday (208) – Lady Bugs

Couldn’t pass this one up!

Here is the result:

LITTLE LADY BUG – BRUSHED BLOOMS – CAS ON FRIDAY #208

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.
  • Accent Sentiment Label: (3⅛” x 1¾”) Basic Black cardstock.  The sentiment, Let’s paint the town…, from the Brushed Blooms stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.  The label was die-cut with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
  • Focal Image: (2⅜” x 1”) Basic White cardstock.  The four-some of partying little Lady Bugs image from the Little Lady Bug stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Real Red Stampin’ Blend.  The image was trimmed by die-cutting with another one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

And there you have it.  A Lady Bug party…painting the town red!  I know just who I can send this card to…
