I created this card for the Colour INKspiration Challenge – CI97.

These are fun colors to work with.

- To create my color collage, I chose to use the backside of Dots from the Life is Beautiful stamp set. The colors: Rococo Rose, Calypso Color, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry were stamped off once and randomly placed on to a Basic White (¼) sheet panel that was subsequently trimmed down to (3¼” x 4½”).
- The Cross Hatch image from the Comfort & Hope and the Splatter image from the Forever Fern stamp sets were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
- The colored panel was matted with a piece of Basic White cardstock (3⅜” x 4⅝”).
- The sentiment, Be Awesome, from the Nothing Better Than stamp set was truncated and stamped in Soft Suede ink on to a scrap of Basic White cardstock (½” x 1⅝”) and matted with a scrap of Calypso Coral cardstock (⅝” x 1¾”).
Keeping it simple, all the elements were adhered to a Calypso Coral card base.
The colors do all the work. I like how bright and cheery this card turned out to be.
