Time again to work on the weekly Case-ing Tuesday Challenge #299. This week the Sample and Sketch is from page 2 of the Mini Spring Catalog. I decided to mix it up with the Tic Tac Toe #108 Materials Challenge and the Paper Players #536 Color Challenge.
And this is the result:

For the Tic Tac Toe materials, I chose Patterned Paper, FREE and Embellishment. For the FREE square, I selected the Cut and Emboss Machine.
Patterned Paper: (4” x 5¼”) Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper. I added Merry Merlot and Crumb Cake to the pattern selected by water coloring with a Blender Pen and ink direct from the ink pads.
Mat Panel: (3”x 4¼”) Misty Moonlight. I altered the measurements slightly and die-cut the focal image from the center of the panel with the Well Written Dies.
Image Panel: (2¾” x 4”) Very Vanilla. The panel was dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a little bit of texture.
Label: (1⅝” x ⅜”) Merry Merlot. The sentiment, thank you, from the Art Gallery stamp set was stamped with Versmark ink and heat set with White Embossing Powder on to a scrap piece of cardstock. Hunting for a small profile label shape, I came across the one in the retired Merry Christmas Dies and it fitted so nicely.
Embellishment: (1⅞” x ¼”) Magnolia Lane Ribbon (retired). I used this ribbon because of the Crumb Cake color with a Very Vanilla edging.
All the elements were then arranged in my interpretation of the sketch on a Very Vanilla card base.
A mix of different materials creating an interesting thank you card.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
