Paper Bloom – Thanks – The Inque Spot Studio

Hi Everyone! It’s Tuesday and I am working with the Case-ing Tuesday #289 Challenge.

I altered the sketch a little bit to accommodate the Just Add Ink – JAI539 Challenge: Just Add Two.

This is what I created…

The new Sale-a-bration Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper arrived in yesterday’s parcel from Stampin’ Up! just begging to be used. I fussy cut three Blooms from one of the patterned sheets. The larger Seaside Spray flower, the mid-size Rococo Rose flower and the Night of Navy center from another. These were stacked in lieu of the top circle shape suggested by the sketch. For added texture, I lightly scored the petals with the Take You Pick Tool.

The under circle was die-cut with the larger Stitched Shape Circle Die in Rococo Rose.

Instead of a Vellum or second panel, I opted to use a Basic White banner stamped with the sentiment, Thanks, from the Sale-a-bration Punch Party stamp set. This is the first element I chose from the JAI539 – Just Add Two: The Banner.

For the first panel, I wanted to use Night of Navy Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack. I, however, do not have one of everything from Stampin’ Up!. Really, you say? It’s true! In any case, I still had some of the 2018/2019 Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack around and picked the dotted Night of Navy pattern to mimic the floral center.

I chose Seaside Spray for the card base to match the flower and added a double Bow made with the Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon and tucked it up on the right similiar to the catalog sample. This became the second element for the JAI539 – Just Add Two: The Bow.

If you don’t mid fussy cutting, this is a quick card to put together. Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray look very nice with Night of Navy. I’m looking forward to creating more cards with the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper.
