Case-ing Tuesday #285, Stamping Through the Catalog – Tuesday, Stampin’ Up! #SimpleStamping January Challenge and the SU! Color Challenge for January.
This is what I created…
I started with the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. It is bright and beautiful but the pattern was a little busy for the plan I had in mind so I added a piece of Vellum over top to slightly mute the colors. I did not want to cover up the DSP with a label, so I chose to add the Pacific Point sentiment from Berry Blessings directly to the Vellum. I used a technique called Clear Color Embossing.
The sample card from the new Spring Mini Catalog had popped up elements which I liked. I chose to add the Granny Apple Green Stamped Off brambleberry leaves and the Delightful Daffodil flowers from the Boho Indigo stamp set along with a Coastal Cabana and Delightful Daffodil colored butterfly from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set.
All elements were set upon a Basic White panel dry embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder (not exactly #SimpleStamping but a nice finishing touch) and mounted to a Granny Apple Green card base.
