I quick post today.
CASE-ING TUESDAY #283. Stepped Up version with colors from Colour INKspiration CI90 for my niece’s who is celebrating her birthday today. Birthday Celebrations certainly fits the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge – WWC302 too!
I decided to use the Stepped-Up version of the card. If you have the current catalog, you can see the sample to the right of the chosen #283 card. The difference is an additional layer and one extra strip.
The CI90 colors: Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Pretty Peacock, Mango Melody and Gorgeous Grape were water colored over White Glimmer strips from the retired Myths & Magic collection. The balloons from the Balloons Bouquet Punch were painted lighter shades of Magenta Madness and Bermuda Bay.
To highlight the sentiment, I stamped on to a Window Sheet with Stazon Jet Black ink, cut it and a piece of the White Glimmer paper out with the same Stitched Rectangle Die.
Putting it all together, a Bermuda Bay card base (4¼” x 5½”), a Shimmery White background layer (3⅞” x 5⅛”), painted Glimmer strips (¾” x 4¼”) adjust as desired, and the label (3½” x 2¼”). Arrange Balloons as desired and add a little bling – what girl doesn’t like a bit of bling? – with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels!
A sparkly card for a young lady with a sparkly personality…
