Thank you…you make a difference

  • Global Design Project #263 – #GDP263 – Theme Challenge
  • Colour INKspiration #87 (Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand and Metallics)
  • Case-ing Tuesday # 273 (August – December Mini Catalog, page 38)

I used more leaves that I created when I was playing with Alcohol Painting. The colors chosen were for The Colour INKspiration CI#87 Challenge.

(See post dated: October 17 for details on how I created the leaves. These leaves were made without the copper colored ink or additional stippling of green color)

I chose the layout from the Case-ing Tuesday #273 Challenge that posted last week.

Both of these worked well with this week’s Global Design Project #263 Challenge.

The Stitched Shapes Die circle had been cut out of the Copper Brushed Metallic cardstock mat used in the previous leaf card that I made on Saturday.

The sentiment from By the Dock, was heat embossed in White.

For the ribbon element, I use a piece of Metallic Slub Yarn that I have in my stash. The yarn was a perfect compliment.

The branch twigs were die-cut from the now retired Seasonal Layers Dies.

All of the leaves, die-cut with the Stitched Leaves Dies, and twigs were arranged and layered in a cascading pattern over a Daffodil Delight mat that was dry embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

I love it when a concept works out. I really like this card and I hope you do too!

Thanks for spending some of your time with me. Cheers, Jolanda
