Friday Simple Stamping – Thinking of You

 September 18th, 2020

This week the theme for Simple Stamping is “Thinking of You”.  Did you know that the week of September 21st to September 27th is International Thinking of You week?

SEND A CARD – DELIVER A SMILE

In anticipation of this event:  SEND A CARD – DELIVER A SMILE, get a start on creating seven (7) cards, one to send each day to someone special or to someone who needs to know that they are in your thoughts!

Easy – Your Friendship

Love of Leaves – Simple Stamping

Make it easy on yourself.  My #simplestamping design this week is easy to replicate.  One stamp set, Love of Leaves, cardstock and Ink!  Change the colors and you have a different look.  My color palette was Petal Pink, Terracotta Tile, Cinnamon Cider and Soft Suede.  Very subtle Fall colors.  Imagine in true Fall colors or in greens and blues.  Endless possibilities.  Add a little bling and dress up your card, if you want, like I did with the Champagne Rhinestones.

Step Up – You Are Special

Tasteful Touches / Stitched Leaves Dies – Casual Stamping

To step up this card, I used the coordinating Stitched Leaves Dies (Love of Leaves is bundled with these dies), In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and the Brushed Metallic cardstock in Copper.  The Leaf is cut from the mat panel.  The sentiment is from Tasteful Touches, stamped with Cinnamon Cider and flagged by hand.

Not a difficult card, but you will need to use an Embossing & Cutting machine with these dies.  The Copper Brushed Metallic cardstock adds a nice gleam to the project and the Metallic (Copper) Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones make it all sparkle.

Stepped Up – Hello

Love of Leaves Bundle / Pattern Play – Avid Stamping

This card is all about texture.  The leaf was stamped in Petal Pink, die cut and embossed.  A Leaf was also cut out of the Cinnamon Cider square panel to create a window.  The backing window panel was stamped with one of the images from Pattern Play in Petal Pink on Very Vanilla.  A panel of Water Color Paper (it is heavier) was embossed with the Old World Paper EF creating great dimension.  The Cinnamon Cider square was also embossed but with the Subtle 3D EF.  Lots of popped up elements, a sweet little sentiment and Gold Trim and Champagne Rhinestones for a little glamour

Post the card(s) you make using the theme “Thinking of You” on my Facebook Post: https://www.facebook.com/theinquespotstudio so we can all see your creativity.
