Cutest Crew – Noel

Help us celebrate!  Hand Stamped Sentiments has reached a milestone.  This is the 500th challenge.  WOW!! This round, we have a sketch.

My design choices were influenced by Facebook’s SU! Colour (#2610), a true set of holiday tones, #JingleBelles (#2622) with an Animal theme, and sharing with the Creative Crafters (#105) Anything Goes.

Here is the result:

CUTEST CREW – NOEL GREETINGS – HSSSC500 – SUCC2610 – JB2622 – CC105

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Garden Green Gingham patterned piece of paper from the retired Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designers Series Paper pack.  Opted for a full-size background versus the (3” x 5”) suggested size piece.
  • Side Strip: (1¼” x 4¾”) Cherry Cobbler cardstock dry-embossed with the Paradise Garden 3D Embossing Folder, still available but now on the Last Chance List.
  • Scalloped Panel: (2½” x 3¾”) Garden Green cardstock die-cut with the Scallop Rectangle die from the recently retired Lovely Arrangement Dies set.
  • Scallop Layer: (1⅝” x 2¾”) Trimmed Poinsettia Tag, also from the Christmas Tags paper pack.
  • Shape – Circle: Wreath Ephemera (2”), again from the Christmas Tags paper pack.
  • Decoration – Pup: Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The Little Pup image, from the Cutest Crew stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive Product, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • Using the Journaling Pen, I added a little Santa Hat.
    • The Pup & Hat were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Pup – Light and Dark Crumb Cake and Hat – Light Cherry Cobbler.
    • The Pup was then fussy-cut with Detail Scissors.
  • Sentiment Banner: Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The word, Noel, from the October 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Noel Greetings was stamped with Garden Green ink and then die-cut with the (2⅛” x ⅞”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive Product.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Pup was popped up with Dimensionals.

A very cute Christmas card.

I look forward to seeing what you will create with the Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch this round.
