Harvest Glow – Much Happiness

Design Team Time for the Atlantic Hearts (#699) Sketch.

My design was influenced by Facebook’s Global Design Project (#565) to use Metallic Colors and sharing with Ellibelle’s Garden Party (#19).

I was happy to get some of the very pretty pearlized Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Exclusive Product of the Month for August.  The paper is still available and can be purchased for only $5.00 US with a qualifying order.

It is stunning and I really wanted to use it for this project.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½ x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Golden Glow cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Golden Glow Floral patterned piece of paper.
• Vertical Cross Strip: (⅜”x 6½”) x 2 Gold & White ribbon from the retired Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.
• Sentiment Label: (2¾” x 2½”) Shimmery White cardstock (retired but still in my stash).
  • The piece was colored with the Light Golden Glow Stampin’ Blends Marker and then Clear Wink of Stella Gitter was added over top for a bit more sparkle.
  • The sentiment, Wishing you so much happiness, from the Radiant Sunflowers stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (2⅜” x 2”) Octagonal die from the Forever Floral Dies set, still available but now on the Last Chance List.
• Decoration – Floral Spray: A section of the Golden Glow Floral patterned paper was fussy-cut with Detail Scissors.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Floral Spray and Sentiment Label were both popped up with Dimensionals.  A few Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Dots were added to complete the card.

So soft and shimmery with the pearlized finish, this floral card just glows with warmth.
