Botanical Expressions – You’re Wonderful

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday…

Today’s challenge combination: Double Trouble (#224) with the 3-2-1 Recipe and Twist; Inspire Create (#224) for the Color Choices; and bringing it all together with the CAS Colours & Sketches (#593) Sketch.

Here is the result:

RADIANT SUNFLOWERS BUNDLE – BOTANICAL EXPRESIONS – DY224 – ICC224 – CC&S593

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Blocks: (3¼” x 1”) colored scraps from the retired Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper pack. Old Olive Grid; Poppy Parade Dots; and Balmy Blue Watercolor Wash.
  • Sentiment Block: (3½” x 1¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock.
    • The sentiment, You’re wonderful in every way, from the Botanical Expressions stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive Product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (3¼” x 1”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive Product.
  • Decoration – Flower: Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The small Flower image from the Radiant Sunflowers stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light and Dark Poppy Parade and Old Olive along with Light Balmy Blue and then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Radiant Sunflowers Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Flower was popped up with Dimensionals.

A sweet clean and simple appreciation card.
