Begonia Belle – Birthday

Can you stand another one? Tuesday is one of my busiest days…

Design Team Time for Facebook’s Case-ing Tuesday (#578), where we select cards from the Catalogs and remake them as we are inspired.  Today’s inspiration can be found on page 17 of the May – Aug 2026 Catalog.

My design choices were influenced by AAA Birthday (#88) with a floral theme and Addicted to Stamps and More (#523) with a birthday theme.

I chose the pretty color palette suggested by Color Dare (#715).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Barely Blush cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Barely Blush Floral patterned piece of paper from the Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Nested Side Shapes: Barely Blush (2¼” x 4½”) and Hydrangea Hue (2¾” x 5”) light side Two-Tone cardstocks die-cut with the two largest Elongated Hexagon dies from the Nested Essential Dies set.  
• Strip: (3¾” x ⅜”) Shimmery Striped Specialty Designer Series Paper.
• Sentiment Banner: (3” x 1¼”) Hydrangea Hue dark side Two-Tone cardstock off-cut die-cut with the (3⅜” x 1”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • The sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Cutest Crew stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive Product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
• Decorative Shapes – Flowers & Leaves: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The two-step stamping Flowers and Leaves images from the Begonia Belle stamp set, the July 2026 Exclusive Product of the Month, still available with a qualifying purchase, were stamped with tone-on-tone Barely Blush and Cloud Cover inks and then fussy-cut with Detail Scissors.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, and the Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals.

A soft and pretty floral birthday card.
