Paradise Garden – Nature’s Symphony – Lovely Day

Design Team Time for Facebook’s Case-ing Tuesday (#576), where we select cards from the Catalogs and remake them as we are inspired.  Today’s inspiration can be found on page 54 of the May – Aug 2026 Catalog.

My design choices were influenced by the Inspired By (#400) for the colors and Can You Handle the Pressure (#260725) for the embossing texture.

Alas, new items hit the Last Chance List this week and a favorite, the Paradise Garden Bundle, was one of them.  I just had to get it out and play with it!

Here is the result:

PARADISE GARDEN BUNDLE – NATURE’S SYMPONY DIES – CT576 – IB400 – CYHTP260725

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Calypso Coral cardstock.
  • Accent Mat: (5¼” x 4¼”) Calypso Coral cardstock dry-embossed with the Paradise Garden 3D Embossing Folder and then trimmed by just a hair and adhered in place.
  • Support Panel: (4” x 4”) heavy weight Copy Paper.
    • Panel Strips: (1” x 4”) Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake cardstocks adhered to the Support Panel and then die-cut with the Large Leaf die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies set.
    • The Panel was then dry-embossed with the same folder, matching up the pattern and then adhered to card base.
  • Large Leaf Inset: (3” x 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with the same Leaf die and then adhered in place.
  • Shape – Hexagon: (2” x 2¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with the Hexagon die from the Paradise Garden Dies set.
    • The sentiment, Wishing you a lovely day, from the Paradise Garden stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and adhered to the card using Dimensionals on the left side and adhesive on the right side.
  • To complete the card, three Bronze retired Adhesive Backed Textured Dots were added in lieu of the strip element.

And there we have it!

I’m looking forward to seeing what you create based on this week’s sketch.
