Celebrate Spring – Happy Easter

Welcome back!  The weekend has arrived.  Here’s to hoping that you can find some time to be creative.

Playing with: Festive Friday (#205) celebrating Easter and choosing a number of elements from the list.

Sharing with Double D (#260318) for their Easter theme and Little Red Wagon (#850) for Signs of Spring.

Bringing everything together with the Freshly Made Sketches (#728) Layout.

Here is the result:

FABLED FRIENDS – CELEBRATE SPRING 0 FF0205 – DD260318 – LRW850 – FMS728

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lemon Lolly cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock.
    • An Aperture was die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set and then the Panel was dry-embossed with the All in a Row Embossing Folder.
  • Aperture Frame: (2¾” x 2¾”) Lemon Lolly cardstock double die-cut with the (2⅝”) and (2⅛”) Stitched Circle dies from the same Dies set.
  • Shapes – Circles: Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper patterns.  (2⅛”) Eggs and Flower pattern; (1¾”) Stripes pattern; and (1¼”) Mini Four Petal Floral pattern.  All Stitched Circle dies.
  • Sentiment Banner: Lemon Lolly cardstock scrap.
    • The greeting, Happy Easter, is from the Celebrate Spring February 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit and was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then die-cut with the (2¾” x ⅝”) Stitched Banner die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Aperture Inset: (3” x 3½”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Rabbit image from the retired Fabled Friends stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Rabbit Fur – Light and Dark Crumb Cake; Ears and Nose – Light Petal Pink; Jacket – Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo; and Buttons – Dark Petunia Pop.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, rearranging a few so that the Aperture Inset Rabbit takes center stage.

A sweet Easter card.
