Christmas Greetings

Hi again!  Catching a few deadlines that snuck up on me…all Christmas related.

Today I am playing with: Jingle Belles (#2606) with a theme of Three; Addicted to Stamps and More (#512) and Krafty Chicks (#811).

I chose the TGIF (#568) Sketch, which I flipped to the horizontal position.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Black, Gold and White Striped patterned piece of paper from the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, still available but now on the Last Chance List.
• Center Panel: (4¼” x 2¾”) Basic Black cardstock.
  • The sentiment, Christmas Greetings, from the retired Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set was stamped with Versamark and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
• Decoration – Baubles: (6” x 2”) Basic Black cardstock.
  • The Holiday Bauble, from the retired Tags til Christmas stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder, three times and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.  (Note: I know there is a coordinating punch or die, but I couldn’t find it today).
• Banner: Gold Foil Sheets paper scrap punched out with the retired Mini Banner Punch.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the flipped sketch.  The Baubles were popped up with Dimensionals and three Pressed Flower Motifs embellishments were added to the Banner for a bit of bling.
