Cutest Crew – Just a Little Hello

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday…

Clean and simple is the order of the day.

Playing with: Paper Players (#777) for a Floral card; CAS Colours & Sketches (#580) for the Palette, Freshly Made Sketches (#727) for the Layout; and sharing with Simply Clean & Simple (#2603) for the Anything Goes theme.

Here is the result:

CUTEST CREW – PP777 – CC&S580 – FMS727 – SCAS2603

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Frame: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
    • Selecting the (3⅜” x 4¾”) and (2⅝” x 3⅞”) Stitched Rectangle dies from the retired Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies set, the Frame was created.
    • The Frame was then dry-embossed with the new Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product, for a bit of textural dimension.
  • Arched Inset: (2⅝” x 3⅞”) Basic White cardstock center piece from the previous die cut.
    • The greeting, Just a Little Hello, from the Cutest Crew stamp set, another On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink as was the Floral image.
    • Using the Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Watercolor Pencils, the Flowers were colored.
    • Using the (2¾” x 4”) Arched die from the Everyday Arches Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product, the Panel was die-cut.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, keeping everything clean and simple.

A sweet hello card.
