Nature’s Symphony – Birthday

Welcome back!  Friday…the end of the week and catching up with all things green with a spot of gold.

Today is mostly a color challenge day: Seize the Birthday (#322) using mostly Green; along with Color Hues (#128) Green & Gold; Inspiration Station (#83) with a Green & Gold suggestion photo.

Additionally, I am playing with Heart’s Quest (#83) to add Green Heart(s) and the current Tic Tac Toe (#288) Board choosing the right column, to use Dies, adding Splatters and Embellishments.

Here is the result:

NATURE’S SYMPHONY BUNDLE – CUTEST CREW – SWIRLED DESIGNS – LASTING LINEN – COUNTRY BOUQUET – STB322 – TCH128 – ISC83 – HQCB83 – TTTC288

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Old Olive cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Mossy Meadow cardstock dry-embossed with the Paradise Garden Hybrid 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Accent Strips: (⅜” x 5¼”) Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, retired but still in my stash.
  • Vertical Panel: (2” x 5¼”) Old Olive cardstock.
    • The Panel was pressed onto the Lasting Linen background stamp, another On-Line Exclusive product, that had been inked with Mossy Meadow ink, to add some texture.
    • The greeting, Happy Birthday, from the Cutest Crew stamp set and the Splatter image from the Swirled Designs stamp set, both On-Line Exclusive products, were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
    • The Double Heart image from the retired Country Bouquet stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink.
  • Decoration – Leaf Branch: (3¾” x 4¼”) Mossy Meadow cardstock.
    • The Leaf Branch image from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set was also stamped with Versamark and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  A couple of retired Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added for a bit of bling.

And that should about wrap up the month of March’s Green/Gold challenges.  I like how all the elements came together for this birthday card.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
