Hello there! Another Design Team Challenge: The Atlantic Hearts (#671) Sketch.
My design choices were influenced by: Time Out (#307) with the Fabric Bag as inspiration and Four Seasons (#2603) for the Tulips and fun colors. Just perfect to showcase the new Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shy Shamrock cardstock.
- Upper Panel: (5¼” x 1⅜”) Four Petal Floral patterned piece of paper.
- Lower Panel: (5¼” x 2¾”) Striped patterned piece of paper.
- Cross Strip: (5½” x ¼”) Shy Shamrock cardstock.
- Banner: (3⅜” x 1¾”) Balmy Blue cardstock trimmed with a (⅝”) cut.
- The sentiment, Hello Friend, from the Celebrate Spring stamp set (found in the February 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit), was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink.
- Decoration – Tulip: Shy Shamrock and Pretty in Pink cardstock scraps die-cut with the Leaf and Bloom dies from the Beautiful Blooms Dies set, the Paper Pumpkin Add-On product for 1st Quarter 2026.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Banner and part of the Tulip were popped up with Dimensionals. A few Peach Pie retired 2024/2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems were added for a little sparkle.
A lovely bright Spring card for a good friend.

Jolanda, this is a great take off of our fabric bag and your colors are so pretty! That flower tag is wonderful and a great focal point. Tis card caught my eye in the gallery and we’re so glad you shared it with us at Time Out!

ooh.. I love your take Jolanda! Beautiful card! Love the way you were inspired by the polka and stripes .. and I must admit, I love when we cardmakers put the brains – to incorporate elements from different challenges and make something that we may not have thought of earlier.
