Beautiful Blues – Hello

Design Team Time for Hand Stamped Sentiments (#483) with a lovely Mood Board of pretty blue and white images.  I opted for the Floral Tile.

Over at TGIF (#566), we are asked to give a spin on the curated crafting kits available from Stampin’ Up!   Given the blue and white mood board, I selected the Beautiful Blues Kit.  One of my favorites!

I selected the Try a Sketch On Tuesday (#690) Sketch and opted to give it a vertical flip to better accommodate my choices.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) White Kit Envelope cut apart and dry-embossed with the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Square / Rectangle Panel: Floral Card Base cut apart and die-cut with the (2⅛” x 4”) Rectangle die from the retired Radiating Stitches Dies set to feature the Floral Pattern.
• Shapes – Circles: Night of Navy and retired Boho Blue cardstock scraps die-cut with the (⅞”) and (1½”) Circle dies, also from the Radiating Stitches Dies set.
• Sentiment Label: (1⅝” x ⅝”) Laser Cut Label from the Kit.
  • The sentiment, hello, from the now retired Unbounded Love stamp set was stamped with Night of Navy ink. (The stamped Label was found in the box and had not been used).

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the flipped version of the sketch.  A few Gems, also from the Kit, were added for a bit of sparkle.

So pretty…
