Welcome back! I have the pleasure of being a Crazy Cousin for the month of March with the Double Trouble Family.
Challenge (#211) features 3 Layers, 2 Primary Colors and 1 Image with a Twist to add a Pig. I have 4 Layers, 3 Primary Colors (Orange, Yellow and Green) and 3 Images (Windmill, Pigs and Flowers).

The Challenge also suggests we partner with Try A Sketch On Tuesday (#690) and Critter Crazy (#108).

I am sharing with this card with both Color Dare (#692) as that was where I got the color combination and Farm Quest (#81) for Baby Farm Animals (Piglets).

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Calypso Coral cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Daffodil Delight and White Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired Day at the Farm Designer Series Paper pack.
- Square Panel: Windmill section of the Farm Scene patterned piece of paper from the same Paper pack die-cut with the (2¾” x 2¾”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- Shapes: Garden Green and Basic White cardstock scraps die-cut with the (2¼” x 1⅞”) and (1½” x 1¼”) Hexagon dies from the retired Beautiful Shapes Dies set.
- Sentiment Banner: Calypso Coral cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Sending Good Vibes, from The Right Words stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (2¾” x ⅝”) Stitched Banner die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- Decoration – Pigs and Flowers: From the Farm Animals sheet, again from the Day at the Farm Designer Series Paper pack, the Pig and Piglets and small Flowers were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Pig, top Piglet, Flowers and Sentiment Banner were all popped up with Dimensionals.
A sunshiny farm card, perfect for a weekend escape from the city hustle and bustle.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!

Thanks for incorporating the FQCB #81 theme plus CCC #108 into your card for Double Trouble! Congrats on being D.T.’s crazy cousin for the month! That’s terrific!
Your windmill gives a suggestion of a farm setting along with the trio of piglets and balancing the layout with the flower trio helps with the color palette, too. Great card!

Thank you, Becca! I think I used that patterned paper for my first FQCB challenge, way back when…

What a cute card! Unfortunately, the pink color for the pigs is not part of our color challenge. Keep on sharing….we love seeing your artwork! Thanks for sharing at Color Dare.

I would think that in this instance, the pale pink would work as a neutral. I appreciate your comment. Thank you!
