Welcome back! A treat today. I have the pleasure of being a Guest Designer with the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge team for March.

My design choices were influenced by the Double Trouble (#210) 3-2-1 Recipe and selecting the Try a Sketch on Tuesday (#689) Layout.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Poppy Parade (Red) cardstock.
- Split Patterned Paper Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”).
- From the retired Garden Walk Designer Series Paper pack: (1” x 5¼”) Pretty Peacock Dots (Green); (1¾” x 5¼”) Poinsettia Floral; and (1⅛” x 5¼”) Wild Wheat Stripes (Yellow/Gold).
- Embossed Paper Ribbon: (½” x 5¼”) Mossy Meadow (Green) cardstock dry-embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, still available but now on the Last Chance List.
- Accent Mat: (2¼” x 2¾”) Poppy Parade cardstock.
- Sentiment Panel: (2” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock.
- The greeting, Christmas Cheer, from the retired Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and a few Flower images from the retired Softly Sophisticated stamp set were stamped with Poppy Parade ink and the centers were colored with the Light Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Marker.
- Decoration – Tea Cups: (5½” x 1¾”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Leaf Tea Cup image from the retired Cup of Tea stamp set was stamped twice with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Using a Blending Brush, Wild Wheat ink was added to the Cups and then the Leaves were colored with the Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Marker.
- Using Paper Snips, the Cups were fussy-cut, and then additional shading was added with more Wild Wheat ink applied with a Sponge Dauber.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, and the top Tea Cup was popped up Dimensionals.
My idea of a great snack…sweet, sweet honeyed hot tea. Better yet shared with a friend. A perfect holiday shopping pick-me-up break!
Happy Holidays.

Your card is amazing! I love how you did the embossing on the little strip of paper ribbon. It really stands out and helps to showcase the tea cups. Great colors and combination of patterns. Thank you for sharing it with us at the Double Trouble challenge.
