Party Panda – Birthday Wishes

Welcome back!  Already Thursday…where did the week go…

Today I am playing with: Stef’s Paper Players (#773) for the style and theme – a clean and simple birthday card with balloons; Creative Colors (#228) for the palette; and choosing to adapt the TGIF (#564) sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Petunia Pop cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Petunia Pop Striped patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2026 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Cross Panel Accent Mat: (3⅞” x 3¼”) Shy Shamrock cardstock.
• Cross Panel: (3¾” x 3⅛”) Pretty in Pink Watercolor Wash Patch patterned piece of paper cut from the Watercolor Wash Patch sheet from the Splash of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • The Party Hat Panda image from the retired Party Pandas stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink as was the Balloon image.
  • The Party Hat Spots and the Balloon were colored with the Dark Petunia Pop and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • The sentiment, birthday wishes, from the Simply Said stamp set was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch for a fun and youthful clean and simple birthday card.  Just stamps ink and paper.
