Love and Hugs – Greenery Lane

Welcome back!  Design Team Time for the Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#550) Sketch which I flipped to the vertical and the Hand Stamped Sentiments (#481) Colors. 

My design choices were influenced by: Paper Players (#771) Love Is In The Air (top right Pink Toned Bokeh Hearts image) and sharing with We Love Stamping (#2602) with a Hearts Twist.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Bubble Bath cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Flirty Flamingo cardstock dry-embossed with the Cross-Hatch patterned retired Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
• Strips: (1⅜” x 5”) Golden Striped patterned pieces of paper and (¾” x 4¾”) Mini Hearts patterned piece of paper from the retired Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shape – Framed Heart: (3¼” x 3¼”) Strawberry Slush card stock and Brush Stokes patterned piece of paper, also from the Painted With Love Designer Series Paper pack, die-cut with the Scalloped Heart die from the Spring Is In The Air Dies set, a Paper Pumpkin Add-On product.
  • The sentiment, love and hugs, from the Greenery Lane stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder onto the Heart In-Set.
  • The Heart Frame and In-Set were taped together to be one piece.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the flipped sketch.  The Heart was popped up with Dimensionals and a few retired Gold Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added for a bit of bling.

A nice little “love” card…
