True Blue Floral – Friendly Foliage – In My Heart

Design Team Time for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#662).  A pretty sketch with lots of possibilities to showcase your florals and more.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5” x 3¾”) Balmy Blue Wallpaper patterned piece of paper from the True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper pack, the December 2025 Product of the Month.
• Label Accent Mat: (4” x 2½”) Blue Fleur de Lis patterned piece of paper from the same DSP pack die-cut with the largest Elongated Scalloped Stitched die from the retired Thoughtful Expressions Dies set.
• Sentiment Label: Night of Navy cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You’re on my mind and in my heart, from the Friendly Foliage stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the smallest Elongated Scalloped Stitched die, also from the Thoughtful Expressions Dies set.
• Decoration – Flowers: (4½” x 4”) Night of Navy Floral patterned corner piece of paper from the same DSP pack fussy-cut with Paper Snips and added to the top left and bottom right corners with both Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Dimensionals.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A few Basic White Moody Palette Glossy Dots, a new On-Line Exclusive product, were added to complete the card.

Love is in the air with a true-blue floral card.
