Wrapped in Cheer – Cozy Christmas

Welcome back!  December 1^st and the holiday countdown is underway…

Today, I am playing with the Freshly Made (#714) Sketch.

The design elements were influenced by: Festive Friday (#198) choosing an Ugly Sweater close-up with Christmas Colors, Sweater-like Texture with Flocking, and a Warm Sentiment with Color Dare (#680) for the Red and Green colors.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Beige Knitted patterned piece of paper cut from one of the envelopes in the Paper Pumpkin Cozy Christmas October Kit.
• Grounding Panel: (2¾” x 2”) Pecan Pie Snowflake patterned piece of paper cut from the flap of the same envelope.
• Shape – Ornament: Ornament Pieces, Holly Hanger and Star, all die-cut pieces from the Cozy Christmas Kit.
• Sentiment Circle: (2” x 2”) Vellum Specialty Paper.
  • The sentiment, Sending a little Christmas Cheer, from the Paper Pumpkin Wrapped In Cheer November Kit stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink, heat-set with White Embossing Powder then die-cut with the (1¾”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.
